In a deeply concerning development, Jharkhand Education Minister Ramdas Soren has been hospitalized following a severe brain injury sustained after a fall in his bathroom. The incident occurred early Saturday morning at his residence in Jamshedpur, East Singhbhum district.
According to initial reports, Soren was rush to a local hospital in Jamshedpur, where doctors identifie blood clotting in his brain—a result of a serious head injury. Jharkhand Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari confirmed that Soren’s condition was critical and required advanced medical intervention.
“Ramdas Soren’s health has suddenly deteriorated. He fell in the bathroom, which resulted in a severe brain injury and a blood clot. I am in constant contact with his family and monitoring his condition,” said Ansari.
Airlifted to Delhi for Advanced Treatment
Given the severity of his condition, Soren was airlift to Apollo Hospital in Delhi for specialize treatment. Senior political leaders, including former Union Minister Arjun Munda, were present at the Sonari Airport in Jamshedpur to oversee the evacuation and offer support.
“Soren suffered a brain haemorrhage due to a sudden increase in pressure. His condition is stated to be critical, but I hope he will get well soon,” said Arjun Munda.
Munda also stated that he had spoken to the Director of Delhi Apollo Hospital,
who assured that treatment would begin immediately upon Soren’s arrival.
